Jan Rak

Jan is a professor of nuclear physics, he worked at the Institute of Nuclear Physics, participated in research and experiments at CERN in Geneva, completed a fellowship at the Max Planck Institute in Heidelberg and then at the National Laboratory Brookhaven in the USA. He participated in experiments at the RHIC accelerator. He was a professor at Jyvaskyla University in Finland. He also worked at CERN as coordinator of the ALICE experiment. Together with his American colleague Michael Tannenbaum, he is co-author of the book “High-pT Physics in the Heavy Ion Era”. He has also authored and co-authored more than 500 papers in prestigious scientific journals.

At Namitech, Honza leads the R&D activities and drives scientific collaboration, as well as evolution of current physical theory. He focuses on practical experiments that have direct implications for the development of modern technologies.
